I think these are fantastic buildings. They look great on the table. There is great variety with all the layered textures. The buildings can be stored flat, but are very sturdy when assembed, because of their ingenious design. I've had to play around with printing the interiors slightly smaller to make things fit together better, but overall I'm really impressed with this set, and glad that I have these buildings.

I found this set lackluster for the price. Not bad, but not as nice as I hoped for.
For one thing, the design as given seems to both waste ink and potential. While the "box-in-a-box" idea is ingenious, potential is wasted by not making the inner box an interior. If that's what you're thinking (it's what I was thinking), then you'll be disappointed. The inner box textures face outward, meaning that you have a printed surface flush up against another so that you can't see any of it. Why should I (or anyone else) waste printer ink on a texture I'm never going to see?
Or, if you just want the interior box to be physical support, why not just use black lines to indicate where to fold and only texture the roof? If I'm printing out detailed textures, I want to use them!
I ended up making some improvements on the design. I reversed the inner box (that is, I backfolded instead of normal folding) to make the inner box texture face inward. I then cut off the fold-over roof piece, glued it to a piece of scrap to create a tab, and then glued it back on backwards that the roof tecture would face up. Now I have a version where the inner box actually creates an inner wall, allowing characters to enter buildings and have encounters inside. Oh, and none of my modifications changed the "fold flat" style design.
Also, minor nit-pick, but the pdf instructions were incredbly un-intutive. The online instructions (on this page above) much are clearer.
I'm a big fan of Fat Dragon Games and their paper scenery. However, FDG has a very limited number of historic styles. I was really hoping that WargmePrint was going to be the solution to that, but while their products certainly have potential, I feel like I would end up having to redesign them before they're actually usable.
On the pro side, the textures themselves are lovely and easy to adjust in the pdf. No complaints there.
On the con side, for an eleven dollar product (nine on sale), I expect more. While the texture quality was quite good, the design and instructions were sub par. I would call this product a good deal around the 5 dollar mark or less. Alternatively, better quality instructions and a redesign to use the inner box to create an interior space rather than just support would vastly improve this product, making it worth the nine dollars (I still wouldn't go 11 for a mere 4 unique buildings).
As it stands, it's just kinda meh. Not bad certainly, but not good either. Servicable with some extra work.
